July. 27. 2008.

Hi Again. This is my 6th blog.

Luc has now contacted me about the two games which I never received.
He has been glued boxes, solder the two print, waiting for screws, and should now be on the road.
Luc stresses in a PM that he will under no circumstances begin to talk about price and shipping, as the game is not yet ready to be sent away.
Ok, he is probably a little "up and running" now that Eduardo has retired.

Eduardo has been given more responsibility at work, which means that he has less time to his hobby: the programming of games for ColecoVision.
Eduardo had stopped all activities, and it is "forbidden" to contact him to hear him about of the many games that never reached to be finalised.
Eduardo stresses that although Luc has taken over OpCode Games is not to say that Luc must publish titles such as Eduardo has
made through its Brand: Opcode Games.

Luc is even going to try to programming games for ColecoVision.
He has made a Soduko game and another one called : Remember The Flag.
The two games will he launch into a single cartridge, and when Eduardo not want Luc to use the name OpCode Games, will Luc instead publish
future games under his own imprint.

I have sometimes booting problems with some of the games which are homemade.
These are Space Invaders Collection, which also has several errors. Then it's Mr. Chin, and only in rare cases Magical Tree.
Whether it is my machine that has to be "worn" in the components is not known but wonder, however.

I have experimented with AV modification from the previous blog, but as with everything else, it does'nt work.
I wrote to the man in Australia who had put it on the web.
The answer was that he had not even tried to see if it works, because he only had himself been allowed to put the AV to his site.

I have extended my site with a second section, namely Homebrews, I can not translate the word "homebrews" direct,
Abroad we understand each other well enough, it is them who came up with the word.
I have unsuccessfully tried to look it up, but no.
There are many words that I do not understand in the U.S. yet, but it will probably came up as the time goes on.
The word Homebrews, covers the home-made games, at least for the gaming.
The word has, of course, probably a different view in the beer industry.
And it can range from small games without scoring, to the great game that was released in the mid 80's of the known.
Someone ports directly, other so close they can get, and thus change the name to avoid confrontations with various rulers.
So 25 years ago and is still highly among retro-gamers around the world, with the exception of Denmark.
Here in Denmark, there are not many left of the sort. They can easily be counted on one hand.
And we all know why, there will be something new, then discarded the old.

My little secret this time are that, Collector vision is planning yet another game.
And prepare yourself to the success we have been waiting for.

Here in July, I have provided me some of the games and manuals that I was missing in my collection.
The game which I had long sought on ebay was: Up 'n Down from Sega and Bally Midway.
The game was in the high-end, but I got it, and despite the fact that there was one who bid in the last seconds before the deadline.
I expect the game this August.

I still looking for a few rare games, but it will come.
However, I do not buy all ColecVision's game, but as long as there continues to be published modified coin-up games, will i remain a buyer.
Your collection can not ever be completed, since there will always be a game, as we have looking after for several years.

That's all for this time, have a continuous nice day !.

Ole Nielsen.
